  The Southern Vermont Region of USASA invades Carinthia at Mount Snow for the weekend. Open events to aspiring skiers and riders of all ages and abilities. Each contest will feature two heats, with competitors 13 and under in the morning, and then our 14+ competitors in the afternoon heat. Two runs per competitor, best 1 run score counts. Saturday 3rd, things get started with a slopestyle course featuring rail features and jump features on The Gulch (last 4 features) terrain park. Sunday 4th, we will get to see some action on the Pipe. Everyone is invited! However in order to compete you must be a USASA member.

  Simon Dumont will host the fourth Pro/AM Jam Competition - "The Dumont Cup" - at his home mountain Sunday River Resort in Newry, Maine March 23-24, 2012. A lifetime skier and fan of Sunday River, the annual Dumont Cup is Simon's answer to providing skiers country wide with a signature Pro/Am event. Simon and his X-Game buddies will ski alongside, judge and hang with the amateurs as the Ams vie for a spot in the Pro/Am Final. With $20,000 up for grabs you'll see top X Games pros working to hold their own against an amateur field that gives them a run for their money. Tom Wallisch, Alex Schlopy and Nick Goepper have been the cup winners over the last three years - with NBC covering the event this year we'll see who takes the top honors in 2012 in front of a national audience.

  The "Josh" is the 2nd oldest bike, canoe/kayak, run triathlon in the world! The race begins in Great Barrington, Massachusetts with a 27-mile scenic and challenging bike ride through 5 towns, followed by a 5-mile canoe or kayak sprint around Stockbridge Bowl and is completed with a 6.2-mile run around the lake ending at the Tanglewood Music Festival in Lenox.
